Share the gratitude in your heart

The people we cherish bring so much to our lives. They fill our hearts with joy, remind us of what’s good and possible in the world, support us when we need it and love and accept us the way we are.

But just because we know how we feel about them doesn’t always mean they realize how much they matter to us.
Writing a short note or sending a text or card is a wonderful way to express your gratitude and appreciation.

Not sure what to say? Here are a few tips to get you started.

  • “I’m so grateful for the amazing person you are.” — Tell them why they’re so amazing.
  • “I just want you to know you make a difference.” — Whether it’s because of a skill, a talent, a gift or character trait, let them know how.
  • “Thank you for always being there.” — Note a time or two when their support or encouragement has been especially helpful.

Make their day by letting them know how much they mean to you. Doing so only sweetens and affirms the bond you already share.
